I was approached by Greenpeace to create this animated explainer about what a green recovery would mean in a post-pandemic world. 
I had to find a visual solution to drive the narrative as well as house lots of stock and have settled on a combination of paper textures and hand drawn typography. The warmth and familiarity of paper softened the digital sharpness of stock footage, making the overall film feel more inviting and human, while hand drawn lettering contrasted with the uniformity of digital fonts, signalling authenticity and care.

By working with paper textures and hand-rendered type, the film achieves a balance between professional polish and heartfelt authenticity, transforming a collection of stock assets into a visually compelling, human-centred narrative.
